Presented by the IJEE. Christine Guter, Director of Vocal Jazz at CSU Long Beach, joins Alex Sjobeck, Troy Ferguson and David Gluck for an evening of jazz. With a voice described as “full, rich … of great range and versatility,” she is equally at home performing on concert stages as she is in studio sessions. Her performance résumé is nothing short of spectacular: she has worked alongside legends such as Bobby McFerrin, Joe Williams, Diane Schuur and Maynard Ferguson. She has also lent her voice to dozens of major Hollywood film-soundtracks including Star Wars: Rogue One, Men in Black 3, Spiderman 3 and Despicable Me 2.

Eli Howard, founder and lead vocalist of Eli Howard and the Greater Good, is a folk singer who ended up with an electric guitar. The Greater Good is Nick Lambert, and Nik Elliot; together, these hippies hail from Molalla, Oregon. Their music offers a unique experience, blending elements of country, rock, and Americana.

Taking center stage, Joshua and his band will skillfully render the timeless classics of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper. Singer-songwriter Steve Eaton is an Idaho gem: a Governor’s Award recipient for his contributions to the arts, a favorite among music fans statewide, and quite possibly the coolest guy in the room. Backed by The Grateful Dudes, Eaton leads what is often described as an Idaho supergroup—five of the state’s top musicians, four of whom are lead vocalists. Together they deliver a personal, genre-spanning mix of blues, jazz, Americana, funk, classic rock, country, and soul, shaped by decades of experience performing across the U.S. and overseas.

Castro is one of the most decorated artists in contemporary blues, winning 10 Blues Music Awards, including four B.B. King Entertainer of the Year honors — the genre’s highest accolade. With similarities between award-winning, singer/songwriter Chris Collin’s natural voice and appearance of that of John Denver’s, Chris brings to the stage the amazing energy and unmistakable enthusiasm that was the hallmark of a John Denver performance. Hailed as the most exciting John Denver tribute band, joining Chris Collins are the consummate musicians in Boulder Canyon. Consisting of Berkley School of Music graduates and members with numerous years of experience as musicians in many genres, Chris Collins and Boulder Canyon have been receiving delighted acclaim from audiences all over the country and abroad while emerging as the top performers of John Denver’s music.

At the core of Greene's music lies a deep reverence for the traditions of soul, but he's never been one to simply replicate the sounds of the past. Instead, he infuses his music with a modern sensibility, blending elements of R&B, funk, and jazz to create a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. Celebrate Women in Jazz with the Alex Sjobeck Trio, featuring pianist and composer Alex Sjobeck—whose album Pictures in Time was on the GRAMMY Awards Nominating Ballot and who has composed for acclaimed films including Silhouette and Butter Lover (13M+ YouTube views). Joining her are Los Angeles-based bassist Sophia Augustine, drummer and educator Jackie Rush, and special guest Dr. Derek Ganong, trumpet virtuoso and Boise State Director of Jazz Studies. The evening opens with the Gene Harris All Stars, an award-winning high school jazz ensemble recognized with the 2025 Boise Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Education.

Derina Harvey leads the multi-award winning Derina Harvey Band (dHb). Recently taking home the 2024 East Coast Music Award for Fans' Choice Entertainer of the Year, this Celtic-rock group has a live show that leaves audiences hollering from their seats. Derina’s vibrant personality takes centre stage with her humour, engaging storytelling, and powerful vocals - a voice that earned her a 2025 Canadian Folk Music Award (CFMA) nomination for “Contemporary Singer of the Year”. The band was also nominated for a 2025 CFMA in the “New/Emerging Artist of the Year” category.

Beginning in 1959, The Fabulous Chancellors have enjoyed 65 years of recognition as a classic rock 'n' roll show and dance band. With nearly thirty original recorded songs on six completed album collections, The Fabulous Chancellors have also distinguished themselves on record, two of which, "Diamond in the Sky" and "Hey Girl," achieved substantial national airplay and popularity in the early 60's. Two 1990 recordings, "(Me and My Baby Like) Old Songs" and tongue-in-cheek "I'm Cool" subsequently achieved widespread airplay across the nation on select radio stations.
