Empowering Emerging Artists, Inspiring Art Enthusiasts

The Water’s Edge Gallery is located inside the Riverside Hotel above the main lobby, and artwork in every genre is displayed throughout the hotel. A mainstay in the Boise art scene, we exhibit local and emerging artists in a vibrant and dynamic space that showcases the creativity and innovation within our community. In addition to exhibits, the Water’s Edge Gallery also hosts workshops, special art exhibits, and other events.

Another Boise-based artist who is a living legend is Gary McCall. Gary paints iconic buildings and historical sites all around Boise, a subject he feels very passionate about. Old Boise is disappearing and Gary's award worthy work stands as a monument to the past in a time of fast development and evolving cities. Capturing the treasures of Idaho in his very recognizable folk art style, Gary's work is collectible and, in IGFA's opinion, belongs in art museums.
