Empowering Emerging Artists, Inspiring Art Enthusiasts

The Water’s Edge Gallery is located inside the Riverside Hotel above the main lobby, and artwork in every genre is displayed throughout the hotel. A mainstay in the Boise art scene, we exhibit local and emerging artists in a vibrant and dynamic space that showcases the creativity and innovation within our community. In addition to exhibits, the Water’s Edge Gallery also hosts workshops, special art exhibits, and other events.

Color is the gift. Flowers are the “”Color Ambassadors””. They transcend every country and culture, bringing joy wherever they bloom. I was inspired to paint this floral piece, by the beauty found in Marita’s Garden. She brings her Swedish thought disciplines, in color and landscape into fruition, as she creates her beautiful garden.

I have a love for Fluid Art acrylic painting, that even I don’t fully understand. The use of color to create form and dimension, and to spark imagination is a very special experience. I hope you look closely at the details of my pieces, and enjoy the journey.
